As a professional, licensed massage therapist, I am committed to upholding the standards set forth by the American Massage Therapy Association’s (AMTA's) Code of Ethics, www.amtamassage.org/about/codeofethics.html
Scheduling: All sessions are available by appointment only, during the following hours:
Monday – Friday
11am-9pm
Payment: Payment is due when professional service is rendered. Payment is accepted by cash, check, or any major credit card.
Arrival time: Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment to get comfortable. If this is your first visit, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete a health intake form and to discuss your treatment plan. The time we schedule for your appointment is completely yours. If you are late, you are missing out on your massage time. The session will end at the scheduled time and the full cost of the session will be expected as the time was set aside for you.
Cancellations, Rescheduling and No Shows: Please provide at least 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. For any changes within 24 hours, you will be billed half the cost of your session. If you do not show for your appointment you will be billed the full cost of the session. Payment must be made before your next appointment will be scheduled.
Illness: There are times when massage is contraindicated, and could actually make you feel worse. If you are feeling ill, please call as soon as possible before your appointment to discuss whether massage would be appropriate for you. It may be necessary to reschedule your appointment to protect your health as well as that of the therapist and other clients.
Non-sexual: All services are strictly non-sexual. Any overt or suggestive statements or actions will result in termination of session with payment in full. If appropriate, law enforcement may be contacted.
Confidentiality: All verbal and written information provided will be kept strictly confidential, except where mandated by law.
Referrals: In the spirit of gratitude, you’ll receive a complimentary 60 minute massage for every 3 clients you refer (and their respective sessions). It is the responsibility of the new client to provide your name.
Referral to other providers: Massage is not intended to provide diagnosis or to serve as a substitute for medical treatment. It may be necessary at times to refer you to a physician or another healthcare provider. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information on your health intake form and to inform your therapist of any updates to your health status.
